I absolutely and positively recommend Fuego Y Hielo!!! For one, you're getting 2 instructors for the price of 1, which is invaluable for knowing what I should look like and how the partner dances should feel when done appropriately. As someone with no dance background, I really appreciate their ability to cater to individual needs, even in the group setting, and provide constructive feedback on what I need to do to grow as a dancer. Also, Candace and Fuquan's in-depth knowledge of body mechanics as well as history and culture of the art make FYH a fantastic place to train! Even more, though, the environment and community makes the studio such a fun place to unplug, let loose, challenge myself, and break a sweat in my evenings. We are so fortunate to have these world renowned instructors in our backyard!

Fuquan and Candace are the best. I love taking classes here. The monthly social is fun and inviting also. I started as someone who never danced before - it’s a very supportive environment.
